Before you know it, you’re spending more time staring at your phone than looking at the view.
We got tired of it.
So rather than waiting for someone else to build what we wanted, we decided to build it ourselves.

Why We Created Wild Van Guide ❓
Vanlife is all about freedom. But finding where to stay, where to go and who to trust? That can get wild in the wrong way.
Wild Van Guide was born from our own experiences on the road.
Between us, we’ve built, converted, owned and lived in everything from DIY campervans to huge overland trucks. We’ve spent years travelling, attending events, meeting people in the scene and figuring things out the hard way.
And one frustration kept coming back:
Why is it so difficult to find all this information in one place?
There are brilliant businesses, fantastic events, amazing stopovers and loads of useful resources out there.
The problem is finding them.
So our mission is simple:
Bring it all together in one easy-to-use place, so you can spend less time searching and more time exploring.

Keeping It Free for Vanlifers 🔄
We know that life on the road isn’t cheap.
Fuel. Insurance. Repairs. Parts. Food. Campsites. Event tickets. And somehow there is always something else the van needs.
So we don’t think you should have to pay a subscription just to find useful information.
Searching Wild Van Guide will always be free for vanlifers.
Instead, businesses that benefit from reaching our community will pay a fair fee to list and promote their services.
That helps us keep the platform running while also allowing us to give something back to the scene.
One of our biggest ambitions is to help support independent vanlife events and the people behind them.
Because the people organising these events put an enormous amount of time, money and effort into bringing the community together — and we’d like to help them keep doing it.
